A working man

Here we are again! Another great week well spent in London. However, this week was much different than the previous ones. I started my very first job internship, and let me tell ya, it was everything I envisioned and some. Going from college classes where I could sleep in and only be in class for a couple hours, to a 9-5 job setting with only a break for lunch, it was definitely a new experience for me. My day started out with a 30-minute train commute which during rush hour is a madhouse. Talk about sweating your butt off! It was the most crowded I have ever seen the tube so far and by far the sweatiest thing I have had to do all trip. I had to shove my way through the platforms and onto the train in order to make it to work by 9 am.  After conquering that, I began my very first job experience writing articles, contacting webmasters, etc. I have yet to do any coffee or tea runs but that is solely because the main floor of the office has a free coffee shop that is super easy to grab when you walk in. I struggled with the 9-5 but after having completed my very first published article I was officially a working man! It was a sense of accomplishment and I was so proud of myself. I have settled in and become comfortable with my work environment and coworkers and cant wait to see what else I will be doing these next few weeks at my internship.
