Becoming A London Local

I have no been here for over two weeks and let me tell you, I am having an absolute blast. I have finally become settled in and familiar with the Area, the Tube, and most importantly the people I am sharing this awesome experience with. This last week was full of several fun-filled activities that I would say have been my absolute favorite so far. The Week started out with a tour of the British Museum and Westminster Abbey. The British Museum was wonderful, however Westminster Abbey is what blew me away the most. So much history and important figures make what is one of the nicest churches I have ever stepped foot in. Needless to say, I will be returning to it one last time before my time is done here. The middle of the week consisted of another museum known as the Victoria and Albert Museum. As far as museums go, I would say this was probably one of my more favorites out of the several we have been to. It was full of several artifacts, jewelry, David structure, you name it. This was followed by The Lion King Musical which was hands down the best theater performance I have ever been too. It absolutely blew me away and is a show that I would recommend to everyone! We had a long weekend in which I took advantage of by going to Barcelona, Spain….To Be Continued…
