Time is running out

My stay here in London is coming to an end, sadly. I spent my second to last week working and taking a tour of Cambridge, and to be honest, it really hit me that I am leaving to go back home soon. While I am excited to get home, I do not want to leave all of these greats tours and weekend trips behind. My week started out rough as my internship had me do a lot of work that wasn’t originally needed. It was a stressful few days, however, I was lucky that my girlfriend and her family were in town, so I could meet them after work for dinner and some drinks. We did not get to spend much time together due to my schedule, but I was super grateful for the time we did have together. I got to show her what it was like to be a local for a little while, and I felt so cool showing her around and sharing my knowledge of London. Once we went to Cambridge she flew out to Amsterdam where I would meet her on the weekend. The tour of Cambridge was super fun and it made me feel much smarter than I am knowing who all attended that prestigious college. It was a long day, but I knew it was time to get to Amsterdam!
