Adam in A’dam

It had finally arrived! The day I was looking forward to the most was here! I woke up at 3 am for a 6 o’clock flight and was on my way to Amsterdam. Ever since I could remember I have been fascinated with the Netherlands and its quaint and beautiful canals and architecture. I was also very excited because I was getting to see another country with my girlfriend by my side. We spent the first day exploring and also went to the Van Gogh museum which was absolutely breathtaking. We wanted to take a tour of the Anne Frank house, but there was a 2 month wait…2 months! It makes sense though as that is in popular demand. Guess I will just have to go back one day (I’m not complaining). Anyway, we spent the perfect temperature days eating good food, drinking good drinks and explored several canals, streets, parks, and even some coffee shops.  Amsterdam was a different world and didn’t seem real at some points with its bizarre laws and gorgeous scenery. I would say it was one of my favorite if not favorite country I have been too. It is hard to explain, but take a visit for yourself and you will see why. It was a great weekend overall, and I definitely see myself going back in the near future
