Upon arrival, I immediately fell in Love with the city. As being a first time visitor I did not know what to expect, but knew that I would get accustomed to my surroundings very quickly. The living accommodations were not what I was expecting, and in a good way. The flat is super huge, full kitchen, living room, and bedroom. On the contrary, the appliances, bathroom, and the fact that there is no ice is really throwing me off. I make a glass of ice water everyday, so coming here and not having that available has been a problem for me. While this isn’t a huge deal, it is to me. The area we live in is full of wonderful restaurants and pubs that we have taken full advantage of! I was a little skeptical at first knowing that I couldn’t get my normal fast food restaurants, however, I have found three to four different places that have made me super contempt. In addition, the night life here is always popping and full of different backgrounds which is super cool. As far as people go, I’ve run into people from both ends of the spectrum. Some are super ice and others will flip you the bird for breathing near them. This past week and a half has been truly amazing and eye-opening and has only made me more excited for the weeks to come. Til next time!
